The JETA range of ultra-compact AC/DC power supplies has been introduced by Power Conversion Technology. With a range of models from 40W-5kW offering single, dual and triple output variants all with very low profile case design for example the 300W model has a case height of only 27.5mm and power density of 0.97W/cm³ with convection cooling.
Using conduction cooling, these models from Power Conversion Technology Ltd are extremely compact and require no fan cooling which is ideal in systems where there may be high levels of airborne particles. Other features include remote on/off, voltage adjustment and remote current sense. The range offers power levels up to 5kW and all models can be used in parallel mode.
Designed for harsh environments, the JET series have a wide operating temperature range of -50C to +85C and being part potted can function in humid and dusty conditions. Vibration testing to MIL STD 810F is standard across the entire range. Conduction cooling enables these power supplies to utilise water cooling if available or alternatively, they can he heat sink mounted.
The JETA range can be switched on/off by a remote signal, have a full protection against over current, short circuit and overheating and provide compliance to EMC standard EN55022, class A or B with optional addition filter module.
Many models have wide range universal input and feature power factor correction to meet EN61000-3-2, class D.
The JETA series from 1000W upwards are available with a 3 phase input option or can be operated from single phase if required and power factor correction is standard on all models.
