Wall-mount enclosures that provide long-life protection for electronics or electrical equipment in potentially corrosive environments have been developed by Schroff.
The enclosures are manufactured by sister company, Hoffman, within the Pentair Technical Products Group.
The units are fabricated from compression-moulded fibreglass material that offers good temperature, chemical and impact resistance, with a seamless foam-in-place gasket to ensure an IP66-rated watertight and dust-tight seal.
They have 1800 rotation to allow either left or right hinging, and are available with either solid doors or an impact-resistant polycarbonate window.
They feature a hinge design that allows an opening angle of up to 2700.
The doors incorporate a stainless-steel quarter-turn latch, which has the option to be upgraded to a key-locking or pad-locking handle for added security and protection.
The solution comes moulded- in whilst bosses and integral mounting rails are provided for attaching any internal panels to the unit.
The range also offers accessories such as panel bracket kits, swing-out panels, rack-mounting angles, swing frames, hole seals, doorstop kits and mounting bracket kits.
Nine different sizes from 513 by 413 by 228mm to 1025 by 825 by 329mm are available.
