Key LED & Lighting industry speakers from the USA & Germany are scheduled to present at the Fortronic UK LED and Lighting Design Forum on the 26th of March.
Dr Roland Schultz, Applications Engineer for Optical Design from Osram Solid State Lighting is flying in from Germany especially to present a paper on High Power LED Design Considerations along with colleague, Colin Beale, Technical Sales Manager at Osram, who will also be running a one hour workshop on the Quality of Light.
Also confirmed is Dr Geoff Archenhold, CEO and Founder of Integrated System Technologies, with over 20 patents in the power, LED and lighting industry to his name, who is presenting Power Control for BioDynamic Lighting. Recognised as one of Europe’s leading experts on solid-state lighting, Geoff has on several occasions been appointed as a strategic advisor to the UK Government’s Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
More recently, Geoff contributed to the EC Green Paper on Lighting, which focused on how the European Commission should support and grow the energy efficient lighting market in Europe.
