Capable of detection of an object below 0.01mm, with an equally accurate repeatability, makes this range of amplifiers ideal for positioning applications. The use of a high precision aspheric glass lens results in a big reduction in light aberration and so a very high definition laser spot is produced.

Available from Panasonic in 4 detection types – Thru-beam, Reflective, Spot reflective and Convergent reflective  – the range can offer the user a choice in even the most demanding of applications.   

IP67 protection with detection distances extend to 4m ( long range Reflective types ) support the use in the harshest of environments.  To further assist the user the initial setup is easily made by the inclusion of an internal beam axis alignment screen.

The convergent reflective types have convergent distant setting so the background has very little, if any, effect on the sensor. This allows for stable and reliable detection.

A line spot type is able to sense glossy or curved surfaces such as PCB’s or metallic pipes due the use of a wide line laser beam. Previously such applications have been very difficult to reliably achieve using conventional laser beam sensors.
