The latest rugged Buccaneer range of connectors from Bulgin – an Elektron Technology connectivity brand will be available for demonstration.
The new 6000 Series of waterproof power, signal and data connectors features a design that the company claims is unique and easy to use.
They feature a patent pending push-pull latching mechanism, combined with a 30° twist lock, that connects up to ten times faster than a traditional screw thread mechanism.
This latest addition to the company’s existing range of devices is said to enable greater flexibility in systems design, and can withstand the harshest environments, whilst meeting IP66, IP68 and IP69K standards.
The series includes data (USB or Ethernet), signal and power versions up to 16A, 277V, and works in in line with the company’s screw thread range. They are available in fully interchangeable metal and plastic constructions, to enable this the body mouldings and pin carriers have been specifically designed to create a robust interface while avoiding damage during coupling. This guarantees a correctly sealed connection – even where access is restricted.
