TE Connectivity launches a new, entry-level thermal transfer printer. For installation within either an office or industrial environment, the printer’s purpose is to produce printed information onto TE’s tubing, tags and label products.
This process is simplified with its full-colour touch screen, optimised via an icon-based system, adjusting settings as and when needed. Powered by an upgraded CPU with relevant firmware, its memory is pre-loaded with tutorials, should one need feel lost: technical support is also available.
Equipped with USB and Ethernet ports, as well as an RS-232 serial interface and slot for a flash card, the printer can be connected to various sources for direct printing. With a Wi-Fi dongle, wireless printing is achievable. WINTOTAL v7 software finishes the package – running in a familiar Windows environment, WINTOTAL offers 2,500 standard TE identification products pre-uploaded, saving costly time designing from scratch.
