As an international leader in medically certified battery chargers, Mascot has been playing a key role in supporting the medical sector across the world through the Coronavirus pandemic.

The rapid spread of Covid-19 has created a massive increase in demand for ventilators to help keep critically ill patients alive.

All of these ventilators require reliable, medically certified battery charging technology and our teams across all functions from sales and research & Development, to purchasing, production and logistics, have pulled out all the stops to ensure a constant supply of chargers to the locations where they are needed. The Blueline range from Mascot can cater for all types and sizes of batteries providing rapid and reliable charging to keep vital medical equipment functioning effectively.

Currently thousands of units are being shipped every week to our partners and this is set to continue in the months to come.

Meeting this vital life-saving challenge has necessitated a rapid ramp-up in our already extensive production capabilities.

Our specialist manufacturing facility in Tallinn, Estonia, almost doubled its output of medically certified battery chargers for the six-month period from April to September.

Compared with the same period in 2019, production grew by a massive 91% to ensure we could meet the needs of hospitals and other facilities worldwide treating Covid-19 patients. This growth was the result of a huge effort by our local purchasing and production teams, who managed to achieve this impressive result with very little notice.

We are proud to be part of the supply chain for equipment treating COVID-19 patients, providing the true heroes of today – medical and healthcare workers in all settings worldwide – with life-saving equipment.

As a business we understand medical requirements and specifications, having worked in the medical equipment sector for many years, helping companies from various medical application spaces to develop power supplies to meet their specific needs.

An experienced supplier such as Mascot can provide a range of highly functional, reliable, efficient, and medically-proven models giving power to life-preserving and monitoring systems, for patients and healthcare givers alike. All of our products are certified to medical standards for electromedical equipment according to EN/UL 60601-1 3rd edition.

Bringing to market a product for a demanding space like medical equipment is never easy, and development pains caused by compliance issues can kill a product, wasting significant amounts of money and effort. Using the proper subsystems, created by trusted and reputable vendors, can go a long way to ensuring the success of your product.
