LPRS are running an Internet of Things (IoT) themed design competition in association with RS Components and DesignSpark to celebrate 25 years of working together. The competition asks all design engineers, thinkers and makers to submit a concept based around an application for the IoT which uses our eRIC modules and a gateway.

There are two prizes available. The top 20 runners up voted for by the DesignSpark community will receive a limited edition eRIC development kit. As the winning price, the concept will be developed and created into an LPRS product with an open source licence on which you will receive commission and the product will be available to purchase via RS Components.

LPRS will pick their own top 5 concepts with a panel of carefully selected judges and invite them to discuss their concepts further on a live Google Hangout session. One winner will be chosen from these top 5. The final winner will be chosen and notified by the end of January. They will have their concept developed with the LPRS technical team and created into a working product as part of the LPRS product portfolio and will be sold via RS Components. The winner will receive a commission on sales of the finished product for an agreed period.
