For the seventh consecutive year, Selwyn Electronics will be exhibiting at this year’s Southern Manufacturing show in Farnborough, from the 21st to the 23rd of March, stand number G104.
Every year, new and interesting products are added to Selwyn’s range and this year is no exception, when they will be displaying a number of new products from their wide range of connectors and cable assemblies.

This year’s Selwyn stand will display a sample selection of Selwyn’s wide range of connectors and cable assemblies, with particular emphasis on circular connectors, BGA sockets and adapters, waterproof connectors and cable assemblies, and ODU Mac multi-contact industrial and test connectors. Aside from these feature products, they will also be displaying a selection from their complete range, including board to board connectors, high speed RF connectors and cables, data transmission connectors, and some interesting custom designed and manufactured connectors. Within Selwyn’s range of circular connectors, in both waterproof and non-waterproof options, they will be showing for the first time some of their latest high density and high data speed products, including USB and Ethernet signal transmission connectors for use in hazardous or high vibration environments. They will also have on display their wide range of plastic waterproof connectors and cable assemblies, with numerous sizes and locking styles. These waterproof connectors include D-Type, USB (standard, Mini and Micro sizes), RJ45 and HDMI, as well as the more traditional circular multi contact style. The circular multi contact style of waterproof connectors are available in 5 sizes, with 3 locking mechanisms, and with mixed signal and power contact options within one housing.
One interesting new addition to the range from last year is their ODU Mac multi-contact, modular rectangular connector. This range offers a perfect connection system when different types of connection are required within a single housing. These connectors offer up to 100,000 mating cycles, blind mating, and a mixture of contacts offering high speed data transmission, high power, fibre optic, and even pneumatic connections. They are perfect for testing applications or when multi connections are needed.
