The NAPIT Bristol Training Centre – part of a joint venture with Plumb Center and Sevenoaks Energy Academy has been officially opened by MP Charlotte Leslie.
The training facility at St Andrews Trading Estate in Avonmouth, Bristol offers a range of electrical and renewable technology courses. Working installations of renewable technologies such as biomass, solar PV/thermal, heat pumps and the latest combined heat and power unit, demonstrate a diverse range of sustainable heating solutions, while the courses themselves delve into all the technical detail required to become a certified and qualified installer.
Displays also show solar panels and evacuated tube collectors on different types of roof, highlighting the broad range of potential applications for solar thermal and solar PV.
