Lane Electronics, supplier of circular and military connectors, has introduced the Edgecard printed circuit board (PCB) connectors from Weald Electronics, 2.54mm pitch board-to-board connectors which can be supplied to a desired length, as per the customer’s wishes.
Suitable for PCBs with a thickness between 1.4mm and 1.7mm, the Edgecard connectors can be supplied either single or double sided, with four to 170 cantilever or bifurcated contacts: these contacts are copper alloy plated, suitable for vapour phase soldering.
For use in demanding PCB to PCB applications, these connectors come with optional add-ons such as plastic or metal mounting feet, polarising keys and a selection of termination styles: discrete wire, straight pc and wire wrap.
