Using a patented MIPTec manufacturing process the Panasonic range of miniature PIR’s are continuously being expanded in specification to meet customers’ needs.
Using the ubiquitous TO5 can casing, with an encapsulated Fresnel lens array, the addition of internal high density embedded circuits eliminates the need for external control circuits. This allows the designer to meet the highest of PIR specification in the minimum of space.
Panasonic’s PIR’s are available in two distinct ranges. The NaPION range is available in 5M and 12M detection ranges with a choice of White or Black lens casings. The choice of either analogue and digital outputs allows the range to comprehensively cover he majority of sensing applications with due regard to the aesthetic properties needed in many domestic configurations.
The PaPIR range is designed for applications where very low quiescent currents or extreme sensitivities are required. Ideal for wireless and battery operated systems the range is also housed in a TO5 can casing with white or black lenses.
Typical applications will include security, occupancy, lighting and remote control use.
