Two new piezo-electric pushbuttons are being presented by Baran Advanced Technologies. The SBR RGB LED Piezo illuminated pushbutton is designed for harsh environments or outdoor applications such as car washes, parking machines, vehicles and fuel dispensing.
The device is available in a variety of formats and features a 12/24V red, green or blue illumination ring. It comes in stainless steel or anodised aluminium, in colours, red, green, blue, black, gold or in a natural finish.
The Plastic SBR RGB LED Piezo illuminated pushbutton is available in a similar range of functions and with the same illumination ring options, but with a white plastic body. This model is ideal for less demanding applications such as medical devices, food processing or saunas.
The new switches join the company’s existing range of push buttons, multi use keypads and keyboards that use piezo technology.
Built from a single piece of aluminium or Stainless Steel, the entire pushbutton/keypad is filled with a rubbery compound that seals the unit completely against extreme environmental conditions. Switch legends are anodised into the aluminium casing to ensure durability in harsh conditions.The switches are suitable for temperatures from -40 °C to 120°C and for humidity up to 100 percent.
