Brainboxes are releasing more Ethernet to Serial products this year starting with our ES-020 RS232 with screw terminal blocks.

Ethernet to Serial allows control of your devices over existing network infrastructure and the screw terminal blocks are perfect for industrial applications.

Over the last year Brainboxes has released nine Ethernet to Serial products that cover a wide range of applications from 1 and 2 ports to 4 and 8, RS232 or RS422/485 and there is more to come.

This year we aim to give you more options and make it easier for you to tailor your Ethernet to Serial needs to suit your unique application.

Eamonn Walsh Managing Director of Brainboxes says: ‘Brainboxes Ethernet to Serial devices are proving extremely popular, and we are very pleased to meet the demand we have from a whole segment of industry which prefers screw terminal connections rather than soldered 9 pin D connectors because it enables them to make secure connections easily in the field.’

Brainboxes offers a choice of plastic casings or ruggedised metal casings, one, two, four or eight ports and screw terminal blocks. Our premium range is designed for extreme temperature conditions and is suitable for applications in the toughest environments. We also offer an Industrial range with opto-isolation, screw terminals and plastic ‘bookend’ style cases.

Not only do we offer a fantastic range of Ethernet to Serial products but they all have exceptionally low power consumption requirements. Why not compare our power consumption with other manufacturers? On average we think you’ll find our Ethernet to serial product uses less than half the power of other leading brands.
