Products include :

CM6632A USB 2.0 high-speed audio processor that supports the latest USB Audio Device Class V2.0 and high-definition audio processing applications. The CM6632A provides industry-standard HDA and I2S I/O interfaces, supports a maximum of 10 channels of output and 4 channels of input, and also integrates a 192KHz/24-bit S/PDIF transmitter and receiver, making it very versatile. Furthermore, the CM6632A has an embedded 8051 microprocessor that can enhance the flexibility and functionality with external upgradeable ROM codes. The CM6632A is the most powerful audio core for high-value USB2.0 audio products. CM6632A is also capable of supporting a DSD bit stream output, which is a lossless SACD playback technique in PC/Notebook applications.

CM6500B  is a USB 2.0 audio chip builds in 8051 for flexible applications. With internal 2-channel ADC and DAC and S/PDIF interface makes it suitable for Headset, Docking, Speaker and Microphone applications. The internal 8051 can be also developed to a lot of different applications, such as iDevice docking or even Android Phone or Tablet/Slate docking device. CM6500B is compatible with USB audio Class 1.0, so can plug & play without additional software installation on all major operation systems. The internal DAC/ADC and S/PDIF out interface support 48K/44.1KHz sampling rate and 16bit resolution.

Explore Microelectronics produce a range of video interface products supporting HDMI/DVI, Display Port and LVDS interfaces, from transmitters and receivers to switches, bridges and scalers.

Products Include :

EP9555E from Explore is a 3-Port Low Power HDMI/MHL receiver with video up/down Scaler and CCIR 601/656 digital video output. The chip is compliant with HDMI 1.4, MHL 2.0 and HDCP 1.4 specifications. The chip supports 1 HDMI/MHL dual mode port (Port 1) and 2 MHL ports (Port 0 and Port 2). The chip supports Video Output up to 1080p 60 Hz. The chip also supports 2-channel IIS and S/PDIF Audio Outputs. The chip integrates Equalizer Switches, HDMI/MHL core, HDCP engine, Video Scaler and EDID RAM in a single chip. The on-chip Video Scaler is able to scale the input video up or down to any resolution within the range of 0.5X to 2X in both Horizontal and Vertical direction. This is useful for converting an EIA standard video to fit an LCD panel in different resolution. The EP9555E is also integrated with an 8-bit MCU on-chip for HDMI/MHL/HDCP/Scaler control and CEC/RCP applications. With this embedded MCU user is not required to develop the firmware and it is very easy for user to use the chip.

EP91Z2E is a 3 Ghz HDMI Repeater with 4K2K Scaler, Re-Timed Audio and dual HDMI outputs. The chip supports one 3 Ghz HDMI port and two 3 Ghz HDMI TX ports with Video Scaling, Audio Re-Timing and HDCP Repeater function. The on-chip Video Up/Down Scaler can convert video input stream from 1080p to 4K2K or from 4K2K to 1080p. The Re-Timed Audio can convert video timing mode (register programmable) and keep audio stream intact.

EP94Z3  is an HDMI 1.4 Repeater with Audio, VGA and Scaled LVDS outputs. The chip supports 1 HDMI/MHL RX port and 1 HDMI TX port with repeater function. The chip also supports decoded Audio, VGA and scaled LVDS outputs. With the Scaled LVDS output, the chip provides a converted video output which can be in a different resolution from that of the HDMI input. The on-chip Scaler is able to scale the input video up or down to any resolution within the range of 0.5X to 2X in both Horizontal and Vertical direction. This is adequate for converting an EIA standard video to fit an LCD panel in different resolution. The chip is compliant with HDMI 1.4 and supports SD/HD Audio and HD/3D Video up to 1080p. The chip also supports on-chip HDCP RX/TX engines and EDID RAM.
