The MXCS from Miles is MPL’s high performance, low power and highly integrated rugged embedded Server, built in a special designed compact aluminium housing to meet the SWaP-C specifications. This allows the MXCS to operate in a moderate or harsh environment without the need of fans or air vents. The design integrates standard connectors for easy connection. Alternative connectors (M12, MIL 389999) or different housings (19″ rack, MIL IP67 or Open Frame) are available. Therefore, the MXCS solution can be used for any server application where a compact fanless solution is needed.
 
The MXCS housings offer space for up to 8 x 2.5″ SSD. Over PCI/104-Express and mini PCIe unlimited expansions are possible. The 19″ rack server is conductive cooled and designed for an environment of -20°C to +60°C. On request it can be equipped with a failure protected ventilation array, without blowing air and dust over the electronics. The system is designed to meet standards like MIL-STD810, EN50155, or IEC 60945.
 
Particular precautions in the design have been taken that the entire system EMC is within the CE and FCC limits and capable to meet the MIL-STD810, 461, 704, 1275, as well as standards like IEC60945 or EN50155.

The MXCS MIL housings offer space for up to 2 x 2.5″ SSD and comes with internal expansion options over PCI/104-Express and mini PCI Express interfaces. The rugged server is available in a sealed IP67 MIL housing with 38999 connectors and is designed to meet various standards like MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-704F, MIL-STD-1275D, CE, EN50155 or IEC 60945.
