Microlease, a global test and measurement equipment management company, celebrated the launch of Keysight Technologies, formerly Agilent’s Electronic Measurement Business. Microlease, whose global headquarters are in the UK, became the first partner to do business with Keysight in Europe by placing an order for new products for its inventory.

“We are thrilled to do business with Keysight as it spins off into its own entity,” said Nigel Brown, chief executive officer of Microlease. “Keysight is now the world’s leading electronic measurement equipment manufacturer, and we are committed to helping the company prosper globally.”

Microlease has had a long-standing relationship with Agilent Technologies, dating back to when its electronic measurement group operated under Hewlett Packard. Microlease placed the first order with Agilent in Europe when the company separated from Hewlett Packard in 1999.

Microlease is a Keysight Premier Rental Partner for North America and Europe. Microlease is also an Authorised Distributor in the Americas and Italy, as well as the Authorised Technology Partner in the UK, Ireland, and Italy. Microlease was awarded the 2013 Global Company of the Year Award in Test and Measurement Rental and Leasing Services by leading research organisation Frost & Sullivan.

Effective 1st August 2014, Keysight Technologies is operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Agilent Technologies until the formal separation expected in early November 2014.
