Introducing the Panasonic HG-C1000 series range of low cost laser displacement sensors. Self-contained with no separate controller and built in display. The sensor is compact (W20mm x H44 x D25), lightweight (35g) and has an IP67 rated aluminium housing.
With a class 2 rated laser, the HG-C range can achieve stable measurements with a repeatability of 10µm (for HG-C1030) and there are three models in the range with measuring distances of 30 ± 5mm, 50 ± 15mm, and 100 ± 35mm.
Output signals from the sensor take the form of analogue (1-5v), for data logging or judgement by an external device such as a PLC, and digital, where the sensor can be programmed via the operation keys to signal to an external device when measurement tolerances on a target have been exceeded.
The sensor also has a multi-function input that provides features such as remotely zeroing the sensor, timing when the sensor takes a measurement, or set point teaching the sensor for product changeover.
