Newey & Eyre has made some huge enhancements to its already extensive range of own-brand luminaires.  Key new additions include a new range of Newlec dimmable luminaires which now come with DALI dimmable control gear, meaning installers can directly link any DALI compatible presence, occupancy or daylight control device to dim or switch off when not in use. For a one-stop-shop, options include T5/T8 weatherproof, batten, surface fluorescent and recessed modular fittings.

What’s more, the emergency luminaires range has also been extended and enhanced to be solely LED.  Key solutions include the new LED bulkhead which can be used in multiple applications including a high performance bulkhead where wide spacing is required, as an outdoor LED bulkhead or as an exit sign – ideal for all commercial properties.

Also, in response to Building Regulations Part B, C and E, the popular Newlec range of GU10 fire rated downlighters has been modified to be fully enclosed for ultimate safety. This makes the range one of the first of its kind to meet current building regulations no matter if an LED or Halogen lamp is used.

And, it doesn’t quite end there. Installers can also take advantage of Newlec’s new T5 & T8 tubes offering low wattage, long life and high lumen output.

James Harding, category manager of lighting at Newey & Eyre, commented: “Lighting is a serious business and with the phasing out of certain lamps we know that the modern contractor is becoming under more and more pressure to provide high efficiency products that meet stringent guidelines.

“At the same time, more consumers are demanding green lighting solutions to save money on their electricity bills, making it important for contractors to have the right products to hand. With this in mind, we’ve added new products to help installers stay at the top of their game, including dimmable luminaires and control gear and all LED emergency lighting. This makes our lighting range our best yet, with products suitable for any need.”
