LED driver technology, developed by Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) reduces component count and minimises software development overhead in digital signage applications, lighting modules and other designs.
The solution addresses the needs of applications that require high-speed, accurate control of multiple colour LEDs. The 16-channel TC62D723 LED driver is available in three compact package options. Operating from a supply voltage of between 3.3V and 5.5V, the driver supports constant current outputs of between 1.5mA and 90mA and offers a high 1.5 percent channel-to-channel and device-to-device output accuracy. This allows the brightness of even very large displays to be consistently maintained.
