Antex has introduced the first Soldering Iron with Temperature Control buttons and, an LCD display built in to the contoured handle.

In-Hand Temperature Control: Usually temperatures are controlled from a cumbersome soldering station taking up valuable space on the worktop. However, the 240V, 50Watt Iron from Antex increases efficiency and saves space by having the controls built directly in to the handle with the current temperature, between 200° to 450°C (392°– 842°F), displayed on the digital backlit LCD screen.

Surefit Tip System: The TCS 50W is the latest Antex model fitted with the revolutionary Surefit Tip System, allowing bits to slide-on slide-off. The soldering iron comes with a long life 2.3mm Nickel-plated bit for up to 30,000 operations, with 9 different replacement tips available separately varying from 0.12mm to 6mm.

The TCS 50W features a burn proof cable made from Silicone, improving safety and preventing accidents.

Mr Ian Lockhart, Antex Managing Director says, “The electronics industry has long awaited improvements to the established soldering iron.  By using market research we have been able to produce a design that is both easy to use and comfortable, whilst saving desktop space.”
