Adding a TFT colour display and touch-screen to a design may seem a big task. Not any more when using the EA eDIPTFT intelligent displays from MMS Electronics. These displays are available in screen size 3.2”, 4.3”, 5.8” and 7.0”. The displays is supplied with 8 integrated fonts. More fonts can be added with the free LCD software tools. More then 112 embedded graphic commands are available. Drawing lines, boxes, bar graph, rotary instrument gauges, portrait and landscape modes, zoom, pull down menus, display bmp, jpeg, gif or animated gif and commands for the analogue touch–screen. A great tool set, guaranteed to reduce development time. Supply voltages +3.3V or +5V. Additionally 8 programmable inputs and outputs. The onboard display Interface is serial, SPI or I²C and by using a simple level converter USB, RS-232 or RS-485 is easy added. The EVAL-eDIPTFT development kit includes display, software and interface boards. Stylish black bezels are available for panel mounting.
