Multi-touch screen overlays with gesture capability, released by MSC Gleichmann from sister company TRS Star is a range of standard, off the shelf and custom design projected capacitive touch overlays and controller solutions for display sizes from 4.3” up to 21.5”. The completely clear and transparent touch screen overlays will work behind a glass substrate of up to 10mm thickness and plastic up to 4mm.
Single and multi touch, stretch, pinch and rotate gestures with finger tips, gloves or a passive stylus are supported. Up to 16 simultaneous touches of 12-bit resolution are achieved as standard. The TRS Star touch controller solution implements Atmel’s maXTouch touch controller and is designed to work in demanding, rapidly changing environments.
