A series of high-performance rack-mount or bench-top programmable power sources capable of providing up to 6000W has been announced by Powersolve. These are designed for demanding applications where the need for absolute reliability is paramount, along with the ability to run at full power for extended periods.
The SM6000 Series from Delta Elektronika includes eight models with output voltages ranging from 0 to 600V and currents up to 400A. All models exhibit an excellent dynamic response to load changes and are protected against all overload and short circuit conditions. They also feature excellent EMC immunity and emission characteristics that easily surpass CE requirements.
SM6000 Series units require a three phase voltage input and feature active power factor correction: 0.98 (at 100% load). They can be operated in serial or parallel configuration with voltage and current sharing.
Models in the SM6000 Series are housed in an IP20 rated 19in x 4U enclosure weighing 27kg.
