A series of function/arbitrary waveform generators has been developed by LeCroy Corporation. The WaveStation generates signals up to 50MHz and has a 3.5” display, intuitive front panel, two output channels on all models and PC waveform editing software. The new models are available with bandwidths of 10MHz, 25MHz and 50MHz; each with 125MS/s sampling rate, 14-bit resolution and 16kpts memory per channel. The instrument provides basic functions such as sine, square, ramp, pulse and noise and has over 40 built in arbitrary waveforms. The 3.5” colour display enables users to easily preview waveform shape along with various parameters, such as frequency, amplitude, offset, and phase. The device provides a variety of modulation schemes such as AM, PM, FM, ASK, PSK, FSK and PWM that can be controlled using the front panel. The instrument is supplied with all the necessary I/O connections for synchronisation, as well as standard USB and GPIB interfaces for remote control and automation applications.
