Farnell element14 is introducing Murata’s new NXE1 series of cost-effective 1W Isolated DC/DC Converters with a profile 30% lower than the 7mm height industry norm, making them ideal for designs where space constraint is an issue.
Priced from £2.49 and with price breaks for higher quantities, the NXE1 has the additional advantage of being manufactured using automated processes that greatly improve overall product reliability and deliver consistent performance characteristics. A transformer that is embedded in the substrate also contributes to the NXE1’s space-saving features.
Input to output isolation is 3 kVDC “Hi Pot Test”. With an industry standard pin-compatible footprint, the series is the first choice for new compact applications and can replace products in existing designs. The series can be used across the full industrial temperature range from -40 to +85 degrees C.
