New Multiport distribution technology has been developed by Phoenix Contact that offers interference-free data cabling using Profinet or Ethernet in industrial environments. The combination of both units, allows users to implement EMC-compliant connections based on the Profinet cabling directive. To do this, the Multiport distributor takes both data and power interfaces to form one system. The shielding concept prevents interference when transferring data, especially in the area of welding robots and conveyor systems.
The systems aluminium housing and CAT6A components create a rugged push-pull connector system that is easy to install with low and maintenance costs. The matching push-pull connectors are quickly assembled on site using IDC field connection technology.
