Powersolve has announced the TEQ 200WIR Series of high performance DC/DC Power Blocks designed specifically for industrial applications where the environment can often include shock, vibration and temperature extremes. All eight models in the series meet EN50155 which also makes them suitable for railway applications.
Featuring an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range (Up to 160VDC) and efficiency levels approaching 90%, the TEQ 200WIR Power Blocks come in a rugged, sealed, heatsink-style metal case which can be chassis mounted. This allows the units to operate at temperatures up to +70°C with no derating and up to +90°C with power derating.
Output voltages range from 12VDC to 48VDC.
The Power Blocks, which are manufactured by TRACO, incorporate an EN 55022, class A compliant input filter as well as output voltage trimming, remote on/off and under voltage lock-out. According to Powersolve, the very wide input voltage range and reverse input voltage protection make these converters a workable solution for battery operated systems.
