Craft Data have introduced their latest 4.3 inch, 800×480 resolution TFT LCD with a built-in HDMI interface and a USB interfaced projected capacitive touch sensor. With these industry standard interfaces, the panel can be easily connected to a Raspberry PI, Beagle Bone or a host of other single board computers, allowing users to be up and running in a matter of minutes instead of hours of hardware development time and costs.
The display utilises the latest IPS technology, making it a “Free Direction” panel: a high contrast ratio of 800:1 and ultrawide viewing angles of 160 degrees on all axis allows both landscape and portrait mounting without the loss of colour or image quality. With a long life 1000cd/m² LED backlight and a wide operating temperature range of -30 degrees Celsius ~ +70 degrees Celsius, the panel is suitable for a host of rugged outdoor, sunlight viewing applications within the industrial, automotive and aerospace markets.
