Recently CamdenBoss have increased their already extensive PCB Terminal Block selection with the introduction of the CamBlock & CamBlock Plus range, creating a brand name for two new series of PCB Terminal Blocks.
The CamBlock range complements the existing portfolio of CamdenBoss Terminal Blocks by offering a low cost alternative to the most popular configurations, without compromising the quality that CamdenBoss is renowned for, with all the series being UL approved. This range comes in a selection of pitches from 3.5mm, 3.81mm, 5mm, 7.5mm to 10mm; and with pole sizes from 2-12 pole as standard. Moulded in UL94-V0 flame retardant PA66, CamBlock Terminal Blocks offer customers the choice of solid or interlocking options in standard or low profile packages. Differing from many of the low cost products on offer, CamBlock Terminal Blocks feature double interlocking mechanisms for increased strength and polarisation as standard for pluggable types. The range offers wire protector or rising clamp contacts in various configurations to support most requirements. CamBlock products ensure no pitch run-out in higher pole counts.
Complementing the CamBlock range is the new CamBlock Plus series which offers all the benefits of the standard CamBlock Terminal Blocks but has both UL and VDE approvals, making this series of terminal blocks ideal for use where European approvals are required or where a cost-down is necessary without the need to sacrifice quality or approvals. CamBlock Plus is available in over 45 styles in both PCB and pluggable configurations.

CamdenBoss offers customers the option of using our specialist Flat Sheet Plastic Technology (FSPT) Tool-Free manufacturing process to design, prototype and produce unique enclosures to their exact specifications. Customers enjoy rapid lead-times with minimal cost and no capital investment to produce a bespoke enclosure to their exact requirements.
CamdenBoss’ FSPT is a unique process that uses the latest in 3D and 2D CAD/CAM software, before producing production-ready prototypes which can then translate to volume production if required and all without any need for tooling. Ensuring that all potential problems are considered by the highly experienced engineers at CamdenBoss from the very start of the project minimises design revisions which in turn saves on time and costs. Flexibility is another significant benefit of FSPT with the ability to make design modifications both after prototyping and after production, without any cost implications.
CamdenBoss has also launched a time saving design layout of fourteen new enclosure styles, manufactured from the FSPT process. This enables the customer to choose an enclosure shape and construction built to their own specific dimensions and to easily add customisation without any design costs. The wide selection of materials and colours include black, white, silver, granite, light grey and anthracite, red, green, yellow, orange, blue and purple in matt or gloss finish. Acrylic capped finishes include carbon fibre, white and black in high gloss.

To complete the circle of potential requirements, the customisation service offered by CamdenBoss is available for any of the thousands of standard injection moulded, die-cast and sheet metal enclosures within their range. Standard customisation includes cut-outs, pockets, PCB pillars, LCD windows, LED light pipes, ventilation slots and rubber feet.
