The Neutrik XLR series of cable and chassis connectors were designed for use in professional audio and lighting systems and are also used in many industrial applications. According to Lane, Neutrik connectors are accepted as the worldwide standard for professional audio applications from microphone connectors to almost any item of sound equipment.

Neutrik XLR connectors are easy to assemble and to use and are the most reliable in this sector with a wide variety of contact layouts.

The XX & DLX series feature a new female cage type contact on the 3 pole versions this increases conductivity with the male connector plus a more robust latch on the female cable connector which guaranties ground to the chassis.

Specialist versions of the XLR like the EMC series which is a 3-pole female or male cable connector with an integrated capacitive shield to shell connection to avoid RF interference and LF noise. A 360° shield contact on the female connector ensures perfect shielding and chassis contact.

The latest addition to Neutrik XLR series is the 10 Pole XLR which has 8 low and two high  current contacts for PoE which meets CAT 5e performance for data and power to 16A  at 50V ac which exceeds PoE+ capability. The connector is more rugged than RJ45 types and its metal housing offers superior RF protection and EMI shielding.

Lane is an ideal source for all key connector types including circular, filtered, RF, coaxial, sub – miniature, backshells and adaptors, D connectors, aerospace, test & measurement, IDC, PCB connectors, edge connectors and connectors for rack and panel applications.
