John Sharples Managing Director of LPRS, a supplier of short-range radio devices, was named as the Business Person of the Year in the West Oxfordshire Business Awards.
The category, sponsored by Strategic Mentors, also included nominations of a business communications company and a renewable energy system provider.
Recently visited by David Cameron to explore how a small hi-tech manufacturer operates, LPRS are currently enjoying a period of business growth and technology innovation.
The company is said to be considered as an excellent example of a ‘micro-business’ who has a commitment to partnering with local Universities and Government initiatives to maximise their potential for growth.
