Arm, computing and connectivity specialist, has revealed Space Analytics as part of its Arm Pelion Smart Spaces solutions scheme, for use in hotels, co-working spaces and commercial buildings to see when, where and how building space is being utilised. As the pressure increases on property managers to make the most out of their working environment to maximise revenue, the wonders of IoT arise to present a solution, whereby the Space Analytics platform can predict availability of space and deliver actionable insights.

This development comes at the right time for Arm: research shows that Europe is forecast to have 255 million square feet of commercial property dedicated to cowering spaces in 2019. To ensure that Space Analytics is up and running in time to meet that demand, Dogpatch Labs has agreed to jumpstart the technology by utilising it for its Dublin Docklands startup hub, with the hopes that it’ll improve dynamic management of spaces throughout its facilities.

Space Analytics is currently available and can be purchased as a standalone offering, or in conjunction with Arm’s other Smart IoT offering: Indoor Lighting, which enables the rapid deployment, remote management and security of intelligent lighting controls that reduce maintenance costs and provide energy savings.
