America II Electronics, an independent distributors of semiconductors and electronic components, has entered into a distribution agreement with Taiwan Semiconductor, a worldwide manufacturer of discrete semiconductors, as well as analog ICs, power transistors and MosFETs used in the automotive, computer, consumer, industrial, telecom and photovoltaic industries.

Under terms of the agreement, America II will have North and South American distribution rights to Taiwan Semiconductor’s line of products.

With four billion components in stock and available to sell at their St. Petersburg facility, America II Electronics has one of the largest inventories in the industry. Originally established as a supplier focused on the distribution of hard-to-find parts, America II has transitioned to its current Blended Distribution model by combining traits of both the independent and franchise channels. While the company still focuses on all the things that made it a successful independent distributor, it has also taken on the qualities of an authorised distributor by stocking secure product directly from manufacturers while offering traceability and continuity of supply.
