After a successful period of sustained growth, Altus Group, supplier of capital equipment in the UK and Ireland, has opened the doors to its new head office, home to a contemporary demonstration area, application lab and training rooms.
The new facility, based in Redditch near Birmingham, widens its company’s proximity – both figuratively and literally – with over 350 sq. m of space dedicated specifically for customers. The demo room accommodates a number of established, technologically respected companies and their respective technology. One example of these collaborator specific features is a functional Koh Young product suite featuring 3D SPI and AOI, including a fully operational KSmart factory software solution.
“In celebration of the new head office opening, we held an open house for two days,” said Richard Booth, Altus’ managing director: “We were able to present the latest equipment to customers and also had an interesting mix of presentations and hands-on demonstrations from pre-eminent suppliers that included Cencorp Automation, Koh Young, Scienscope and Industore.”
“The official opening of our impressive facility was a proud moment for me. The event was a unique chance for partners, customers and employees to come together, network and celebrate. The new facility is a reflection of the continued success of Altus and our ambitious plans for the future.
