Despite it being a tough couple of years in the industrial electronics sector, some companies are still  innovating their way to success. For example Finnish Enclosure manufacturer, FIBOX was recently honoured with: ‘The Achiever Certificate 2011′, which is presented annually by the prestigious ‘Kauppalehti’, one of Finland’s largest business newspapers.

In order to be considered for such an accolade companies are classified by level of achievement, growth, profitability, financial structure and liquidity.

Nominees are awarded points for each key indicator on the basis of comparison with competitors and piers across their industry sector.

The Achiever certificate is therefore considered the mark of a company demonstrating solid financial foundations, and able to withstand economic fluctuations.

Companies achieving this status are considered reliable and desirable partners as well as recognised as good employers.

Steve Gallon, MD of FIBOX in the UK said: “This award really does highlight the best aspects of the entire group, from innovation to growth, from customer focus to corporate responsibility. It is recognition for all the great work we have done in 2010, which has already opened doors, both nationally and internationally.”

Recognising the depth of such an invaluable status award Gallon went on to say: “Business awards like these not only showcase top European companies, but also stand as proof that there are organisations in Europe still thriving and growing, regardless of current economic fragility.

“As winners, FIBOX endorse the fact that Europe still has a great deal to be confident about. Highlighting these success stories is an important way to inspire, lead and encourage others to follow suit.”
